About my journey to here as a Squarespace web designer
Hi, I’m Taryn, an expat living in Germany and a really long time web designer!
Since founding my business here in Germany and working with other expat solopreneurs and creatives, the one common pain point was that a custom website was too expensive when starting a business. That's when I decided to create affordable templates that are a breeze to customize, giving you that designer-made look without the more expensive price tag!
I’ve spent my lifetime navigating between the US and Germany with so many experiences shaped by these dynamic cultures.
I’m now an established EU resident and officially opened my business as a Squarespace web designer in May 2020. As a freelancer, I’ve been creating websites since 2012 when a friend asked me to help her design a website. I found Squarespace and fell in love with its modern elegance and simplistic ease of use!
I did create my very first website for fun using HTML back in 1999! I was young and full of crazy ambition!
I graduated University as a Journalism major, but found myself in jobs that included elements of design in their roles, and if they didn't, I created a reason for it. This led to a career path of design jobs in advertising, marketing, and publishing.
My journey to here has shaped who I am and the essence of what I do. I pour my experiences and love for detail into every Squarespace website and template I create.
