Eight of my favorite Google Chrome extensions

Google Chrome Extensions

My favorite web browser is Google Chrome. It works especially well when designing and editing websites since I can take advantage of the extension tools.

These are my eight favorite Chrome extensions that I use the most:

▪︎ OneTab

Ok, this one is probably the most important for me! This extension will take all 155 of my open tabs and save them in a list on only one tab for me to (probably never) find in one place! Where has this extension been all my browsing life?! Now hopefully my computer won’t be so bogged down and use up so much memory for all the tabs I just can’t seem to close!

▪︎ WhatFont?

You know when you see a really cool font on a website and you would love to know what font it is? Now you can easily find out using this awesome extension! It gives you all the font info, including the font color code. Pretty cool!

▪︎ Eye Dropper

This is great for finding the color codes on any web page. It will also save your personal color history.

▪︎ Check My Links

This is a good tool for making sure all the links on your website are functioning without having to check each one individually! This extension crawls through your web page and looks for all the broken links. It doesn’t check the entire website at once so you will have to run the extension on each page.

▪︎ GoFullPage

This extension is a quick and simple way to take a full page screenshot of your current browser window. It will scroll down the page and capture it all! This is also great for creating backups of your website!

▪︎ Loom

Perfect for recording your screen, voice, and/or face to easily share videos for courses, tutorials, messages, anything you need a video for!

Fun Tip:
If you download the Loom app, you can “throw” confetti on your display! This is fun to use in a video or anytime you want to celebrate on your computer! To make this happen, with Loom open or on in the background, click Control + Command⌘ + C to see a confetti! 🎉

(Thanks to Will Myers for the tip on this little trick!)

▪︎ Notion Web Clipper

For saving any favorite website page that you come across for inspiration, articles, or any reason, and storing it in Notion, kind of like a cool place to organize your bookmarks but better.

If you’re not sure what Notion is, then definitely check it out! It’s an all-in-one workspace for organizing all the things in your life, business and personal. I use it for both and love it!

▪︎ Squarespace ID Finder

This one is for the Squarespace designers and coders … it provides the ids for collections, sections, and blocks for you to add to your coding. It works with both Squarespace 7.0 and 7.1
