Meet your next favorite website resources and tools that I love and recommend for design, tech tools, SEO, and courses.

My collection of favorite resources and tools that I use along with just about every website project I create.

With each Squarespace website project that I work on, I almost always use the same favorite resources. It seems I almost always learn something new as well. I love it when I find something new that I just have to add to my set of needed tools! There is just so much amazing information out there to upscale your websites!

I get it though. It can be time-consuming and overwhelming to search Google every time you want to know something. So I have put together this digital resource library to share in one place all my favorites.

This is for you as much as it is a place for me to keep a collection of all the best resources and tools that I use. No matter your skill level, there are resources really for everyone! Not all of it is related to just Squarespace either. :)

The ultimate goal here is to provide you with the tools to become a pro of your website!

The resource collection will continue to grow as I learn and explore more. All the resources are ones that I use myself and can fully recommend.

Here’s a brief overview of my favorite go-to resources for web design that are included:
(You can click on the heading to be taken directly to the resources page.)

Stock photography

for beautiful images, including videos and mockups, when you either can’t afford a brand photographer yet or you just need some gorgeous photos to supplement. Be sure to choose photos that are consistent in style and compliment your brand.

This blog post is also good resource with Tips for beautiful website images and how to format them.

Fonts

for fabulous and fun ones to fit your style and brand. Remember to be minimalistic and only choose 1-3 fonts. And if you use a fancy script style font, use sparingly as an accent only!

If you choose brand fonts that aren’t already available on Squarespace, see also this blog post on How to add custom brand fonts to your Squarespace website.

Color Palettes

for generating all the complimentary color possibilities and checking color contrasts for readability and accessibility.

Determine your colors and then Style your Squarespace 7.1 color palette to match your brand. This blog post might be helpful as well.

Google Chrome Extensions

for browser tools that work especially well when designing and editing websites, including fonts, colors, SEO, and more.

These are Eight of my favorite Google Chrome extensions at the moment. This list seems to keep growing though!

SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

plugin tool for Squarespace to boost your SEO.

For extra guidance on How to use your website headings to boost SEO, see the post.

Courses

for Squarespace design and coding, scaling with website templates, and upscaling your SEO knowledge.

(Hands down the best resource for Squarespace designers is the Standout Squarespace* course!)

Contact me with any tools or tips that you would like to share and add to the collection. I am so grateful for the creative souls out there that share what they know. It takes a community! :)
